This website copy builds on the clever compass and mapping device designed by Kimpton Creative. Since the theme is about careers and taking people ‘the right way’, and globally, the idea was to take the reader on a kind of journey.

HDR Light Studio
There’s a better alternative to going into a real studio – this amazing programme allows photographers to light images in 3D from their computer. Its saves time and money and improves quality – nine of the top ten car manufacturers now use it. Long discussions and thorough analysis of their previous communications showed that HDR Light Studio's considerable strengths weren’t being shown in… ahem… the best possible light. Part of the process of fixing that involved coming up with the line ‘See the Light’ – which is exactly what the programme does – you can fiddle and change until you’re happy. This line now features prominently on their restructured website and mailer… it’s not yet made it into a fully blown tagline. But I’m working on that!

MARIE STOPES INTERNATIONAL: FIVE BY FIFTEEN

Marie Stopes International wanted to win support for its initiatives to achieve Millennium Development Goal 5 - better maternal health - by 2015. We helped generate the name of the campaign - 'Five by Fifteen'| - and then developed a website and printed material. The theme was doors/accessibility, in keeping with Marie Stopes' own logo. The animations on the website even feature soundtracks played on doors.

How can you FORGET that you wrote large amounts of website for Mercedes-Benz? I did. I never saved it, and it's been buried at the bottom of my CV for years. Well I'm coming out of the closet. I was young and irresponsible. I wrote copy for cars. Comfy cars, even if I never actually sat in one. I found the word files... I quite like the copy and Mercedes-Benz is Mercedes-Benz, so here they are. CS-CLASS|. S-CLASS|.
